Sample Contract:
Two
Day Strategic Planning Agreement
The
(name of company) agrees to hire Altfeld, Inc. to conduct and
facilitate a two day strategic planning event on (month) (date)
(year)at a site to be determined by the client. The purpose
of the two day event is to provide the client with the means
to discern its own realities, achieve actual disclosure and
discover genuine solutions; to allow the client to shape its
own future, and help ensure the company's continued revenue
flow. To have the client come away with focus, direction, a
determination of its values, internal interdependence, and a
long range plan. Within three (3) working days after the last
day of the event, Altfeld, Inc. will prepare and submit a written
report on the event, stating the outcomes and conclusions drawn,
as well as outlining the objectives, actions to be taken, plus
recommendations and suggestions.
The
client agrees to provide and pay for the event site, accommodations,
refreshments, meals, and audio visual equipment (flip charts,
easels, overhead projector) including room and board, if required.
The agreed to price for the two day event is $3841.47 payable
to Altfeld, Inc., plus any transportation costs beyond 50 miles
one way. The client further agrees to pay Altfeld, Inc. 40%
at the time of signing and the balance within ten (10) working
days after the last day of the event. Altfeld, Inc. is available
in a follow-up capacity to assist, guide and help with the actual
implementation of the plan in whole or in part. Altfeld, Inc.
is available to work with the client's executive management
team, business units, departments, and/or individual vice presidents,
managers and/or supervisors on the creation, implementation
and fulfillment of their portion of the plan. (This includes
marketing and sales consultation).
Altfeld,
Inc. strongly encourages our clients to do as much on their
own as possible. Our aim is to teach your people how to do it
and have them take ownership, not do it for them. Fees and costs
for this additional work are stated on the backside of this
document.
Our Guarantee:
Should
the client's chief representative not find the event stimulating,
thought provoking, productive, and/or informative any time after
two hours, one day, or a day and a half into the meeting, Altfeld,
Inc. agrees to promptly refund the entire 40% pre-paid by the
client, plus an additional $500.00 on top of that. Should the
client's chief representative not find our follow-up work to
be unproductive and not achieving the realistic agreed to results
and expectations of both the client and Altfeld, Inc., Altfeld,
Inc. will promptly refund all consulting fees for the last full
month prior to termination.
As
is evident by our signatures below, the client and Altfeld,
Inc. enter into this agreement on this day, (Month), (Date),
(Year), at Burbank, California; this contract will be performed
at Burbank and we agree that Burbank, California is the proper
venue for any action in connection with this agreement.
